STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. (April 12)   —  The sixth edition of the annual International Real Estate Conference sponsored by the Staten Island Board of Realtors (SIBOR) was a huge success.

Sari Kingsley, chairwoman of SIBOR’s International Real Estate Conference, meets with Michael Dukhovny, committee member; Vanessa Saunders of GPS Real Estate, moderator of the event; Georgianna Diaz, president of SIBOR, and Lenny Taratuta, vice chair of the event committee.

On Friday, New York real estate professionals who attended the event gathered information from an array of international real estate experts.

“I’m proud of the way the conference had grown over the years said Sari Kingsley, chairwoman of SIBOR’s sixth annual International Real Estate Conference. “This was by far the best global symposium we have hosted to date.”

Having outgrown its previous space at SIBOR’s headquarters in the community of Graniteville, this year’s event was held in the Staten Island, N.Y., venue of The Vanderbilt at South Beach, 300 Fr. Capodanno Blvd., just minutes from the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge.

“Sari Kingsley and Michael Dukhovny have completely outdone themselves,”  said Traci Cangiano, president-elect of SIBOR. “This Year’s International Symposium was not only extremely informative and educational, but it was also interactive. I am looking forward to next year!! Thank You!!”

The event was a wise investment of her time, said Licensed Associate Broker Holly Wiesner Olivier.

“The SIBOR International Real Estate Conference was enriching and resourceful. … I discovered how to implement new ways to broaden my real estate business internationally through the use of social media,” Ms. Olivier said.

Georgianna Diaz, president of SIBO, added, “This year’s conference acted as a reminder of how Realtors work together to bolster the quality of life  for families throughout our local community and  beyond.”

The conference featured renowned global-commerce experts who discussed strategies of attracting and servicing clients in the worldwide marketplace. A portion of the proceeds raised through the gathering are being donated to “Hope & Heroes” Children’s Cancer Fund.
