STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Our thoughts are with everyone that has been affected by the hurricane. We hope that you, and your family, friends and colleagues are safe.

The SIBOR and SIMLS offices have reopened today, Friday,  Nov.  2.

We are working through the e-mails, messages and faxes that have been sent over the past week.
Please be patient, as we are doing our best to respond to everyone of you, but if you have an urgent issue do not hesitate to contact us.
Listing contract extensions will be processed even if received after the expiration date until Monday. The history will not reflect the expiration of your listing.

All RCREI classes will resume as normal on Monday, Nov 5.
The public Homeownership Fair that was scheduled for Saturday has been cancelled. We have notified everyone who registered, but if you know of any of your customers who were planning on attending, please let them know.

You should have already received a notice from us about a relief effort the New York State Association of Realtors is spearheading, and we will be making an effort over the upcoming weeks to keep you informed about any relief assistance we know of, as well as any actions that the Staten Island Board of Realtors will be taking.

We know that it may take time for some of you to turn your thoughts back to business, but when you do, the Staten Island Board of Realtors and Staten Island Multiple Listing Service will be here to help you in any way we can.

We hope everyone remains safe.
Best Wishes,
The Staten Island Board of Realtors, Inc.
