STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Last year, 45 percent of all home buyers in the nation used an “open house” as a source in their home search process. This weekend, those in the market for a new home on Staten Island will want to take advantage of the 2013 Realtors® Nationwide Open House event.
Realtors on the Island will be participating on Saturday and Sunday (April 20-21) in the nation’s largest open-house weekend with their colleagues from coast to coast.
“The two-day event will bring buyers and sellers together during a wonderful time of the year,” said Traci Cangiano, president of the Staten Island Board of Realtors (SIBOR). “Realtors will be on hand to answer questions about the local housing market and the buying-and-selling process. And home buyers will have an opportunity to meet their new potential neighbors and learn a little more about the community and housing opportunities available to them.”
