We recently came across the following article, “Jewels of Staten Island architecture,” which ran in the New York Daily News in 2008.

Although it’s not reflective of the post-real estate balloon era of today, the article captures some of the warm and charming aspects of Staten Island that continue to fuel the borough’s appeal:

New Yorkers infatuated with real estate would benefit from knowing more about Staten Island. There’s a home there designed by Frank Lloyd Wright, America’s most famous architect.
