Quigler App provides transparency for Realtors’ clients during the real estate transaction

The Staten Island Board of REALTORS® (SIBOR) is offering consumers and Realtors a new tool for achieving greater transparency during transactions.

SIBOR is the first real estate association in New York state to utilize Quigler (www.Quigler.com), an App that keeps consumers abreast of an agent’s actions on their behalf during the real estate process. The technology is a boon to both real estate professionals and their clients, as it enhances the flow of communications, inviting consumers to see the sequential steps of a buy/sell transaction.

The App informs consumers and agents of federal and state laws and documentation requirements in the buying and selling process. Agents can invite consumers to join them and follow along. Another option allows consumers to initiate the process by engaging a Realtor on the App.

“We are pleased to help SIBOR’s Realtor members provide the public with greater transparency and communication,” said Sandy Krueger, CEO of SIBOR. “Quigler helps to take the veil off the transaction process, and consumers appreciate that.”

By using the application, a real estate professional can empower their client to know in advance what is required, when it was done —  and learn why it’s essential. In addition, the consumer knows in advance what’s required of them at each step.

According to the National Association of REALTORS®, 93 percent of consumers want more details as the buying and selling process is progressing.

“With Quigler, an agent can give a client remarkable transparency and an additional layer of communication,” said David Michonski, Quigler founder and CEO. “When you give consumers greater transparency and communication, it generates more trust – which, in turn, generates a more satisfied client.”

HOW IT WORKS

The App is simple to use:

  • Agents can invite clients to join them on the App, or
  • After logging in for free at www.Quigler.com, consumers can invite their favorite agent to join them, or click on “Find an Agent” to see agents using Quigler, and connect to them.
  • When the selected agent completes a required action, the consumer gets an instant time-stamped and dated notification, creating a running record of what has been done, and thus automating an additional layer of communication with the client.

Buying or selling a home is arguably one of the largest financial transactions for most consumers. Quigler allows them to “look under the hood” to ensure they understand the process and the fees.
