STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Staten Island businesses placed at risk by Hurricane Sandy can obtain free counseling and marketing advice. It’s a joint offering by the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at the College of Staten and Relevant Public Relations, a Graniteville-based company.
“This is an urgent initiative and could not be timelier,” said Dean L. Balsamini, director of the SBDC at CSI about the need to deal with storm-related problems.
The center assists small businesses and aspiring entrepreneurs with a wide array of free technical assistance.
“The next few weeks will be a critical time for numerous local businesses and professional practices that lost phone communication, or were forced to temporarily shut down or relocate,” said Barton Horowitz, who is the president of Relevant Public Relations. READ MORE …
