Please let other business owners know about this program that we have put in place to help get businesses “back in business” on Staten Island.

The Staten Island Economic Development Corp. (SIEDC)  got power restored to its 900 South Ave. office on Friday.

Yesterday, SIEDC  unveiled a mobile bus with generators to share, donated by Bobby Xavier of Legend Limos and Charlie Balducci of NYC Arts Cypher.  The bus was stationed on New Dorp Lane on Saturday, and was later parked at the area of the New Dorp Beach clean-up effort.

SIEDC has advocated for New York state to provide generators to Staten Island businesses. An application to be considered to receive temporary generator support is available at: http://www.siedc.org/images/PDF/11.02.12%20questions.pdf and can be faxed back to SIEDC’s attention at 718-477-0681.
