Department of Financial Services is Offering Insurance Assistance at Six Locations in Nassau County and New York City Boroughs

Department Representatives Will be Available to Answer Insurance Questions; Storm Hotline is Also Being Staffed to Help Sandy Victims

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Representatives of the Department of Financial Services will be at six locations in Nassau County and New York City to offer help to homeowners, renters and business owners with insurance-related issues stemming from damage caused by superstorm Sandy.

The Department’s representatives will be available to meet with residents inside the agency’s Mobile Command Center, which will be stationed on Staten Island on Monday, Dec. 17,  9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at  Stop & Shop, 4343 Amboy Rd., Eltingville.
