The Staten Island Board of Realtors (SIBOR) honored its best achieving members on March 13 during the group’s annual Top Producer Awards Breakfast.
The event, sponsored by Continental Home Loans and Peoples Home Loans, launched SIBOR’s daylong Agent Day & Trade Show at the Hilton Garden Inn, Bloomfield, which included 90-plus national and local real estate-related vendors, and abundant networking opportunities.
Among those honored were three new inductees into the SIBOR’s Top Producer Club Hall of Fame: Celia Iervasi, Nancy Pezzolla and Margaret “Peggy” Power. Each was recognized for being a “top producer” for a minimum of 10 consecutive years. Thomas DeLese received SIBOR’s “Rising Star” Award.
“Realtors work long and hard to ensure the satisfaction of homebuyers and home sellers,” said Laird Klein, president of SIBOR. “Being among the best of the best in this profession requires an abundance of knowledge and an unrelenting passion for helping others. I am proud to share this day with such wonderful and extraordinary colleagues.”
A total of 126 Top Producer awards for performance in 2013 were presented at yesterday’s breakfast gathering. Top Producer designations are annually awarded to associate brokers and sales associates for exceptional listing and selling activity. SIBOR is comprised of over 1,700 members. The Top Producer Committee was co-chaired by Kathy O’Leary Garbarino and Ann Coppola.
