New Technology Makes it Simpler to Include Floor Plans With Staten Island Home Listings
Staten Island Multiple Listing Service embraces FlōPlan™ , an innovative mobile floor plan scanning app
STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. – Floor plans are consistently cited by consumers as one of the top-3 most valued assets for online listings, according to an annual consumer survey by the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR). New technology is now allowing members of the Staten Island Multiple Listing Service (SIMLS) to easily deliver on that consumer desire.
The Staten Island MLS, administered by the Staten Island Board of REALTORS® (SIBOR), has forged a partnership with MLS technology innovator and Flexmls® System provider FBS to offer FlōPlan™ , an innovative mobile floor plan scanning app, to its members. With the launch of FlōPlan, SIMLS aims to include a floor plan on every listing, enhancing listing information in the Staten Island market.
Developed by industry technology leader FBS, FlōPlan is powered by an innovative mobile scan-technology from the CubiCasa company. Using a mobile device, an agent (or someone invited by the agent, such as an assistant, photographer, or homeowner) can download the app, scan a property and receive an accurate floor plan in about a day. Completed FlōPlans can be uploaded to the listing in the MLS system. There is no additional hardware to buy and no complicated software to learn.
SIMLS licensing means the cost of the technology to Realtor members of the Staten Island Board of REALTORS® (SIBOR) is deeply discounted, providing agents with an affordable, easy and truly meaningful innovation that enhances the consumer experience.
