Active sports play a large part in Bloomingdale Park. As a result of a major renovation in 2004, the park features excellent softball, baseball, and soccer fields, as well as basketball courts. One of the most attractive features of the park is its bocce ball court, which provides a wonderful opportunity to play or learn the classic Italian game.

Dog walkers meet up every day to take advantage of the park’s dog run. The ragamuffin group of dogs (and owners) interact on a daily basis and, as a result, have formed a warm and welcoming social group.
